BulletSafe's New Web Series How Bulletproof Oct 24 2014
Did you ever wonder how bulletproof regular objects are? Most people know that a bulletproof vest will stop a bullet and that a paper target will not stop a bullet, but what is in between? For instance, how many sacks of flour would you have to layer to get the same protection as a bulletproof vest? How many watermelons?
The folks at BulletSafe wanted to find out. They know something about stopping bullets and how much strength it requires. "I think people forget how powerful handguns really are and how much energy a bulletproof vest must stop. There aren't many objects out there that will stop a bullet," says Tom Nardone, the President of BulletSafe.
